Had second visit to Avita ER today. First time was with a child, today was myself. Both times we received excellent care from a competent, professional, courteous and compassionate staff. Several different people today from last time (different shift), but would highly recommend after both visits. First time with young child was for laceration needing to be closed up, today was for breathing/upper respiratory issues. Thankful for good ER care in Ontario!
Its an okay emergency room. Misdiagnosed a family member, which could of been fatal if she never found out about it. Some staff was a bit rude. The doctor was pretty good. Facilities are very pretty. Avita still has a long way to go if they want to get rid of Ohiohealth Mansfield.
Went to ER at 11pm, was in and out in about 30 mins. It's a good thing when you bring a book to read while you wait and never even got the chance to look at your phone. They were great!
I had to get a cat scan and was having an allergic reaction to the dye. When they were done she said "did you have those hives on your face before?" Really? Then when I told her I couldn't breathe she said "hives aren't somethiung that they say are a risk of this but I've seen it enough, you're fine." Then when I got into the room the doctor came in took one look at me then ran out to come back and give me something for the reaction. He even said "why has nobody given her anything" it was horrible and unprofessional. Do NOT Recommend.
The hospital team treated us very professionally, and very caring. I had suffered a Grand Mall Seizure while driving nearby, my first and hopefully my last. My wife was totally panicking about it they treated Her great as well. We are from Wisconsin.
