Then in December I get a letter from a collection agency for the remaining balance, the one I've been paying on through Avita. I immediately call in to Avita and the lady tells me that because I didn't call in to Avita and make specific payment arrangements with them, that it didn't matter that I was paying on my bill every month.
My credit score thanks you Avita.
Came in with an upper respiratory infection. I didn't have the flu because I didn't have any flu symptoms outside of the upper respiratory things. The guy who saw me either didn't want to be there, thought I was wasting his time, or just has a bad attitude. He said it was the flu even after I repeated my symptoms and insisted that it wasn't. They did a test, I waited about 50 minutes, and the guy came back in and said, "Well, it's not the flu." I was diagnosed with Bronchitis and was given a prescription.
So, basically, I got screwed for trying to be responsible and pay my bill. Now I have to either pay the remaining balance in full to Avita or deal with the debt collection agency.

That was in February. In September I get a bill, which I start paying toward through the online option. I couldn't pay it outright, but I paid on it every month.
Don't go here, they obviously don't care about the people that come in through those doors, and even less if you have a bill.
I'm only giving a one star because it won't let me give lower. Took my 13 year old son in for a knee injury during a wrestling meet. Spent 3 1/2 hours to never see an actual doctor, never have an exam. The only thing was an ace bandage and Motrin. Worse emergency visit I've ever had. The PA on duty was totally incompetent. Will never go there again. I really hope they dont think they are gonna bill me ins. for this fiascos
